Remember how coal was the only source of energy and rails used it for power generation about 200 years ago, slowly gas came into picture and we started to see more and more appliances, vehicles that were running on gas. How many rails do you see on railway tracks that still use coal? None anymore, that happened because we do not live in static world. It is a very dynamic world and we accept new developments gracefully. That change was necessary as there were limited resources of coal. This transition of gas to alternative fuel options is also important as we do not have unlimited resources of gas. Not to mention the price of regular gas, its already costing 3 to 4 time than what it used to be about 2/3 years ago.
